On Monday night we asked you how determined you are to change, on a scale of one to ten. You said eleven. This is the plan for the guy who said that. We wrote it so you can read it in five minutes before we talk again.
We didn't put any of this in your mouth. It's what you said, word for word. Read it back like it came from a mate.
With your family. That was the moment you decided something had to change.
Out of ten. Three or four years of feeling that way.
Confidence isn't only a gym thing. It decides who you see and what you say yes to.
At 21km, in the heat. The engine is there. The base under it isn't yet.
You dropped 12kg from January to March. Then placement started and it came back.
You diagnosed it yourself. That's exactly what we do.
You described this loop yourself: “When I feel bad, I feel worse.” Every skipped session costs you confidence, and low confidence makes the next session easier to skip. Nobody notices, so nothing breaks it.
Look at what you've already done on your own, with no plan and no one in your corner:
A lazy person does none of that. You have the drive. What you've never had is a structure that holds when study, shifts and bad sleep hit at the same time.
The weight came back because the plan couldn't survive real life. Here's what changes.
Start Discovery Week on Monday 26 October and your final week lands 18 to 24 January, in the middle of summer. Here are the two versions of that week.
You told us about your family's health history and that you don't want to follow the same line. That doesn't start with one good month. It starts with habits that hold for years, and these 13 weeks are where they get built.
One integrated plan. Running, strength and nutrition built together, in three four-week blocks so you get into a rhythm and stop having to decide every day.
Live exactly as you do now and log it. We learn your real week, your food and your sleep before we prescribe anything.
A beginner strength plan you can follow without thinking. Running rebuilt around a real easy base. A food routine that works on study days and shift days. Fat loss starts here.
Weight going up on the bar. Quality running added. Nutrition adjusted to how your body is responding. This is where people around you start noticing.
Strength and running tested so you finish with proof, not a feeling. You leave knowing how to run it yourself, so it doesn't bounce back this time.
Came to us off a 4:20 marathon. Ran Gold Coast in 3:38, a 42 minute PB, then took another two minutes off at Sydney. Back to back PBs.
Gold Coast Marathon PB of 3:44:54 and a half marathon PB of 1:42:36 on the same weekend, while training strength alongside it.
Joined to build lean muscle. Finished his 12 weeks lifting with structure and running three times a week. Now he calls it his stress relief.
One payment and it's done. Full commitment from day one.
Spread across the block, so the cost lands alongside your pay instead of all at once.
That works out to about $24 a day, or $169 a week, for two coaches building every part of your week around you.
We know tuition and bills come first, and we respect that you were straight with us about it. If a different payment schedule suits your pay cycle better, or you need a later start date to get set up, tell us. We're happy to work out an option that fits. We'd rather find a way to get you started than watch you wait another year.
The coaching term is fixed at 13 weeks and is non-refundable, as set out in the Athlete Coaching Agreement you'll receive before you start. Dual Performance Coaching is not a medical service. Anything health related stays between you and your GP, and we'll work alongside their advice.
Read this through before Monday. Come with your questions and the payment option that works for you, and we'll lock in your start date on the call.
